There appears to be the beginning of “a bump” in this pic, but I think really I was just bloated. As of my doc appointment last Wed. I haven’t gained any weight and clothes are still fitting ok.
My stomach seems to be handling veggies a little better, the other night I ate a whole bowl of cukes and tomato from our garden, with a bit of olive oil, balsamic vinegar, fresh basil, garlic powder, salt and pepper.
The tiredness is still striking on and off though, and can get pretty depressing. That’s what I act like, a depressed person, who doesn’t have the will to do anything, only wants to lay in bed.
Last night I wanted to clean up the house, go for a bike ride, or a walk, run some errands, make food for our National Night Out party tonight. But instead I went to bed straight after work, got up for a bit when Nathan got home, had a tiring session in the bathroom (pooping not puking!), felt sick, went back to bed, thought mindless tv might make me feel better and made it through about 30 seconds of The Bachelorette before I wanted to shoot myself. (We don’t have cable and don’t watch much tv except for an hour of Netflix before bed. Working our way through The Wire right now, which Nathan LOVES and I’m really liking now that we’re in the 2nd season).
Finally forced myself up to make some Chocolate Zucchini Muffins for the party and had the brilliant idea to dig out one of my old CD’s and play it on our fairly new laptop.
I’ve become very disconnected from music since I stopped commuting by car 2 1/2 years ago and also we didn’t have a laptop for a long time so I couldn’t update my iPod, which just had a bunch of random stuff on it and none of my old favorite albums. We do have a stereo, but the CD player only works intermittently.
So I credit the new laptop, Tori Amos, and From The Choirgirl Hotel for energizing my night and getting me through a 45 minute baking session =).
